Your main responsabilities are: · Perform general ledger transaction processing in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with defined operating procedure standards and audit requirements· Performs duties in accordance with company's policies and procedures· Prepare journals entries as necessary during the month· Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and analyse variances· Analise P&L variances· Be responsible for Inter-company balances and reconciliations· Monitor group interest loans, monthly calculation, and accruals· GL accounts reconciliations· Maintain the integrity between General Ledger and IC/FA ledgers· Provides accurate and on-time accounts reconciliation· Generate defined standard reports and process ad-hoc requests· Support and conduct period-end processing· Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.· Resolves problems and trouble-shooting when required· Contribute to general ledger process improvement initiatives as required· Propose improvements to optimize and automate processes and calculations· Analyse, designs, implement and maintain internal controls· Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.· Group reporting· Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.· Perform other duties as required within general ledger Requisitos del puesto: University degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant· Fully qualified or part qualified accountant desirable but not mandatory (ACCA, CIMA, etc.)· Solid accounting knowledge· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process· Hands-on experience with accounting software packages· Fluent English· Advanced MS Excel skills· Accuracy and attention to detail· Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills· Willingness to take imitative, being proactive Formación: Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio
