Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities related to all the entities under his/her responsibility, month-end accruals, account reconciliations, reconciliation of US GAAP books to local books, reconciliation of external accounting records to SAP, trend analysis, and preparation of local statutory accounts. Participate and support internal and external audits, be the first point of contact for any tax questions relating to the assigned entities. Responsible for all data collection related to overall reporting requirements for the local legal entities. Responsible for Internal Control activities for Local and Financial Reporting process assigned for the local entities. Ensure that any new developments in US GAAP or Internal Corporate Accounting policies and procedures are properly applied in the legal entities. Ensure accounting data complies with US GAAP and local GAAP reporting and promote correct usage of accounts. Support continuous improvement initiatives for finance processes. Act as connection bridge and facilitator with other functions and businesses for any specific requirements in the countries, including application or development of internal processes. Requisitos del puesto: Degree in Finance or Accounting, chartered accountant (or equivalent) Computer Proficiency including SAP & SAP4H, MS Office (especially Excel) Preferred knowledge and experience of local GAAPs Ability to adapt to recurrent changes, champion them and fast grasping knowledge Ability to relate and connect processes Self-motivated Language Skills: English proficiency. and any other Asian language is a plus Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can influence people to obtain the desired results Experience in working in international, multicultural environments Formación: Licenciado
